My child is hooked on YouTube Shorts — where do we start?
Pick one fixed 12–20 minute window, open a learning path (try Crystal Castle), and play the first island — the goal is finishing a few feedback-rich games, not quitting YouTube overnight.
Why not a total ban on day one?
For many 3–6 year olds, a sudden cut-off sparks conflict. Swapping one daily window for an activity with a natural stop (end of slots / end of island) usually lasts longer. Parents still set the schedule.
Concrete steps
1) Say it upfront: “Today we play one island, then we stop.” 2) Open Edu-Sparks and enter a path. 3) Sit nearby for the first 1–2 games. 4) Stop while they still want more — keep “we’ll play again tomorrow.” More in the FAQ: /en/faq
What we do not promise
No IQ claims or “better at math in 7 days.” The promise is behavior: coming back, finishing an island, and asking less for endless scroll in the window you chose.
